Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional therapeutic practice designed to support the body’s natural capacity to heal and regulate itself. It involves the gentle stimulation of specific points on the body. I use very fine, sterile needles and sometimes heat or manual pressure, to encourage balance and promote positive physiological change.

In Chinese medicine, health is viewed as a dynamic balance of systems within the body. When this balance is disrupted, symptoms may arise. Acupuncture aims to help regulate these systems by stimulating specific acupuncture points that influence circulation, the nervous system, and the body’s internal signalling pathways.
